Donates Vehicle to Needy Veteran

This Veteran’s Day, Tuesday, November 11th the Jack Demmer Automotive Group partnered with Progressive Insurance and donated a vehicle to a veteran in need, Amy O’Neil, in appreciation for her service in the United States Army.

Amy served in Iraq in 2003 focusing in the laundry and hygiene division of the Army. She currently works at the Veteran’s hospital in Ann Arbor and doesn’t have her own means of transportation to get to work. We were happy to give back to Amy alongside Progressive Insurance, the National Auto Body Council, Enterprise Rent-A-Car, and several other organizations.

With parts donated from our vendors, the staff at Jack Demmer Collision Centers repaired and refurbished a 2005 Escape to gift O’Neil. We were honored to donate a Ford Escape to Amy who is one of more than 100 veterans across the country who received a special vehicle on Veteran’s Day through Progressive’s “Recycled Rides” project.
