What is the Ford A & Ford Z Plan? 

The A&Z encourages the Demmer Ford employees, retirees and their families with a purchase plan to drive a new Company product. Each person is allocated 4 PINs per year that they can use for immediate use of purchase at Demmer Ford. The New Vehicle Purchase Program (the A&Z Plans) offers the best savings available on a new Ford Motor Company vehicle to employees, retirees and their immediate family members. 

Who is eligible?

An eligible Ford employee (A-Plan) or retiree/surviving spouse (Z-Plan) may generate up to four (4) PINs per calendar year to be used toward the purchase/lease of a new vehicle for them or their eligible family members as noted below:

• All active full-time hourly employees and regular salaried employees, beginning with their date of hire.
• All hourly retirees receiving a normal, early (regular or special) or disability retirement benefit, as long as any medical benefits are being received.
• Salaried retirees who retired under the General Retirement Plan, including salaried employees who terminate between the ages of 50-55 and who are eligible to receive certain deferred retirement benefits, are eligible while they are receiving benefits.
• Surviving spouses of employees who died while actively employed and surviving spouses of retirees who retired under the General Retirement Plan, or who are receiving benefits under the Ford-UAW Retirement Plan.
• All U.S. Temporary Part-Time employees (TPTs) are eligible for A-Plan in the U.S.
• Employees on an approved leave of absence, for the duration of the leave or until expiration of any medical benefits.
• Employees on layoff, for the first 12 months of the layoff.
• Employees taking a separation package, complete details on their AXZ-Plan privileges are included in their separation packet.
• All regular part-time hourly and salaried employees who are eligible to receive medical benefits.
• Deferred Vested Retirees while they are receiving a Ford pension check.
• Members of the immediate family of the above. "Immediate family" means the following relatives of the employee or retiree:

How does the Ford A, Ford X and Ford Z plans work?

1. Eligible employee obtains organization's Partner Recognition Code.
2. A Personal Identification Number (PIN) is obtained by calling 1-877-XPLAN-00.
3. Participants visit Demmer Ford in Wayne, Michigan and identify themselves as a Partner Recognition (X-Plan) participant. Participant provides Demmer Ford in Wayne, Michigan, with a Social Security Number and PIN.
4. Select a vehicle - 1000's to choose from at Demmer Ford in Wayne
5. Provide proof of employment by an eligible Ford partner through a pay stub, company ID, business card, W-2, etc.
6. Arrange for delivery through Demmer Ford in Wayne, Michigan.

Which Ford Motor Company vehicles are eligible?

All Ford vehicles are eligible. This includes the Ford Focus, Ford Fusion, Ford Mustang, Ford Taurus, Ford Five Hundred, Ford Taurus X, Ford Freestyle, Ford Edge, Ford Escape, Ford Explorer, Ford Expedition, Ford Flex, Ford Fiesta, Transit Connect, Ford Ranger, Ford F-150, Ford F-250, Ford F-350, Ford Econoline, and more. The only exceptions are F-150 Raptors, Mustang GT350 & GT500, F-450 through F750, which are excluded.

Can Ford vehicles be purchased or leased?

Yes -They can be either purchased or leased. The only requirement with leasing is that the lease must be obtained through Ford Credit. 

Can a vehicle be traded in combination with this program?

Yes - however this program does not cover trade-in allowances, which must be negotiated directly with the customer. Demmer Ford in Wayne, Michigan will offer you more for your trade. Our Pre-Owned Department is one of the largest in Michigan. We always need cars, trucks and vans and are willing to give you top dollar for your trade.

How long is the program in effect?

There is no expiration date for the program, however, Ford Motor Company reserves the right to modify the program, remove eligibility or cancel the program at any time.
